Evaluation of Potential Effectiveness of Desktop Remote Video Conferencing for Interactive Seminars
Abstract
This research paper discusses various aspects of desktop videoconferencing and conducts an experiment utilizing this technology to deliver a weekly seminar class to participants distributed throughout the state of North Carolina as the remote audience. The main purpose of this research was to investigate the current state of desktop video conferencing technology and evaluate the potential effectiveness of this technology for delivering interactive seminars to a remote audience.
